How do I subscribe to The Yay Makers?

You can either subscribe on our Yay Makers website, or you can join us through our market place site on cratejoy.com. Take your pick from our 3 month, 6 month or our rolling monthly subscriptions.

How much does it cost?

Our bi monthly subscription costs £18.00 with free shipping within the UK, a flat £7 fee applies to international postage.

How secure is your payment process?

Our payment process is very secure, we use a 3rd party encrypted payment platform which ensures that we operate in a PCI compliant way.

What methods of payment do you take?

We take all the usual payment methods; Visa Debit, Visa Credit, Visa Electron, Master Card, Android Pay, Apple Pay and Bitcoin. For additional methods of payment you can always drop us an email.

How do I enter into the competition?

Do I have to re-order every month?

No. if you have signed up for a subscription box all billing options will keep rolling until you cancel them or until your subscription period has run its course. If you have signed up for our one off box then yes you will need to re-order, or sign up to one of our monthly subscriptions.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time.If you signed up for a monthly box subscription and you cancel before the first of the following month you will not receive another box and will not be charged. If you signed up for either the 3 or 6 month billing options and you cancel your subscription you will keep receiving your YAY boxes until you have reached the end of your 3 or 6 month subscription. You will not be charged again once your subscription ends. To cancel your subscription: Email kate@theyaymakers.com and request a cancellation. Your subscription will be cancelled at the end of the month. Once a subscription is 'cancelled' only you can reinstate it by signing up for a new subscription.

Where do you ship?

We ship anywhere and everywhere!

How much is postage?
Postage is free for UK and mainland customers. For international customers we charge a flat rate of £7 which includes tracking.

When will I receive my YAY mail?

YAY Mail will be dispatched on the 20th of each month and will be delivered as 2nd Class post. We estimate that you will be unwrapping your YAY Mail between 3-5 working days after posted. For additional info on dispatches follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

My YAY Mail hasn’t arrived, what should I do?

Sit tight and if you don’t receive your Mail within 10 working days then the guys at Royal Mail deem this as officially lost. In the rare occasion that this happens, please wait 10 full working days and then email us at kate@theyaymakers.com where we will organise for a replacement or refund to be issued.

What happens if I am not at home on delivery day?

Worry not! Our YAY Mail is delivered in large letter postage boxes which will fit through all letter boxes. If for some reason Royal Mail cannot deliver then they will leave a ‘While you were out card’ which will allow you to collect from your local sorting office.

How to I update my address?

All our YAY mail is delivered via Royal Mail, so it is important we have the correct address for you. If you move address please contact us as soon as possible on kate@theyaymakers.com and we will update any delivery information.

I live outside the UK how does International shipping work?

We send all overseas mail by Royal Mail International Tracked, which gives us door to door tracking. If you wish to track your YAY Mail please email kate@theyaymakers.com. Royal Mail aim to delivery International deliveries within 10 working days, if you don’t receive your Mail within 25 working days then drop us an email and we can discuss and replacement or refund.

When will I be charged?

Your subscription payment will be charged on the 1st of each month unless otherwise notified by the YAY Makers.

When is your YAY Mail cut off?

Our cut-off date for each month is the 16th of each month. Any subscribers after the 16th will receive their YAY Mail the following month.

Returns/Refund Policy

What if I want to return my Yay Mail?

If your box is unwanted please email us at kate@theyaymakers.com. We will provide all the necessary information needed to return a box. We would ask that the box is returned in the same condition as it was delivered.

Boxes must be returned within 7 days of delivery and include all items that were originally included. Returning an un-wanted box will be at the cost of the sender, no postage costs will be reimbursed for an un-wanted box. Refunds will be paid out once un-wanted boxes have been received and confirmed to be in good condition. Failure to return boxes in a satisfactory condition could result in refunds incurring charge for damage or missing items.

How do I return my YAY Mail?

Please return all items which were included in the YAY Mail within 14 days of delivery. Please include within the box a note of your name, address and email address. Returning your YAY Mail for an exchange or refund is at your own cost, The YAY Makers cannot reimburse your postage for an unwanted box. Refunds will be minus the original postage and packaging costs.

My T-shirt is faulty

We take very good care of our packaging and do our best to make sure you receive every box in perfect condition; however accidents happen from time to time. If your T-shirt is damaged or faulty please email us at kate@theyaymakers.com so we can get a replacement to you as quickly as we can.

Returns of Custom YAY Sweatshirts

We really hope you love your Custom YAY sweatshirt, however, as all our products are made to order to your specific request we cannot accept returns unless the item is faulty or damaged on arrival.

Unworn items in the same condition can be returned for a refund within 30 days. Rewrap the item and return it to:

We recommend using a tracked service. Please include your returns card, and tick the refund checkbox. Please note the cost of returning an item is your own and you will be refunded the price you paid for the item minus the shipping cost (if relevant).

International Subscribers

How much is YAY Mail in my own currency?

The YAY Makers is based in the UK therefore our prices are in Pounds Sterling. Unfortunately we cannot quote how much a box plus shipping will be in your own currency as the conversion rates fluctuate.

Will I be charged a custom fee?

It's quite possible. Unfortunately customs fees are charged upon arrival of your box and out of our control. We complete all relevant customs information and attach the appropriate paperwork to your box.


How secure is my information?

The Yay Makers take reasonable care to ensure all transactions are safe and secure. All transactions take place using a secure 3rd party payment platforms (www.stripe.com & www.moonclerk.com) which is incorporated within their website. Stripe.com & Moon Clerk ensures that no sensitive card data will reach The YAY Makers servers to ensure we operate in a PCI compliant way. The Yay Makers will not be held accountable for any 3rd party fraud or misuse of services by 3rd party platforms.
